About Camp Bird for Lutherans
"Camp Bird gives you memories that last a life time and builds faith that lasts an eternity." Here at Camp Bird for Lutherans, Inc., our sole purpose is to give youth the best summer camp experience possible while nurturing the Faith they have in Jesus.
Camp Bird for Lutherans, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to this purpose. We have been blessed to hold this summer camp at Camp Bird Youth Center near Crivitz, Wisconsin where God's creation can be appreciated in all of its splendor and beauty since 1952.
Why Choose Camp Bird
There are four main reasons why Camp Bird is an awesome place for youth to spend a week of their summer. Our Christian atmosphere offers youth the opportunity to socialize and have a fun time with old friends while getting to know some new friends from around the Midwest. All of this for an incredibly reasonable price, too!
Christ Centered Atmosphere
Each week at Camp Bird focuses on a specific Christ-centered theme. The youth are able to delve into God’s Word through morning devotion, morning Bible study, singing, and with campfire devotions. The t-shirts that are given with registration have the weekly theme on them to further remind us of the part Christ plays in our lives.
Opportunities to Socialize and Work Together
Camp Bird focuses on working together to succeed. Each cabin consists of up to nine campers and one counselor. We encourage the cabins to become a team and work together to God’s glory in all that they do.Whether it’s cleaning the cabin, rowing a rowboat, untying a human knot, or even becoming the “Camp Champs,” they all do it together! Price
Most summer youth camps that offer a similar experience would cost several hundred dollars. But not Camp Bird for Lutherans! Our volunteer staff and Marinette County Parks allow us to keep the cost to attend Camp Bird incredibly low. Just how low do we mean? The $150 fee is up to 70% less than many other summer camp fees. Fun times with Friends
The experience of a summer camp is something that every kid should have. It gives them a chance to log off the computer, put down their cell phones, and be with friends in a new and exciting environment. There are so many things to do at Camp Bird including swimming, canoeing, row boating, archery, handicrafts, kickball, volleyball, and basketball, among other things. Camp Bird is one week of the summer that is guaranteed to be remembered!
